Back to Black es el segundo y último álbum de estudio de la cantante y compositora inglesa Amy Winehouse . Su lanzamiento fue el 27 de octubre de 2006, por Island Records .
Winehouse tuvo la particularidad de basar este disco, en su tumultuosa relación con el entonces exnovio y futuro esposo Blake Fielder-Civil.
Quien la dejó temporalmente, para buscar a su exnovia anterior.
En pocas palabras su breve separación, la impulsó a crear un álbum que explora temas de culpa, dolor, infidelidad, angustia y trauma en una relación.
Influenciada por la música pop y soul de los grupos de chicas de la década de 1960 , Winehouse colaboró con los productores Salaam Remi y Mark Ronson.
Todo esto junto con la banda de Sharon Jones , The Dap-Kings , para ayudarla a capturar los sonidos de ese período mientras los mezclaba con R&B y música contemporáneos.
